The men of First Southern Methodist Church are organized for fellowship, personal evangelism, missions, all phases of men’s work, and for assisting the pastor in promoting the entire work of the church.
The Cartwright Men’s Fellowship meets at the church on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Supper is served.

The men actively support various programs of the Southern Methodist Denomination including Home Missions, Camps, and the College. They sponsor the youth float in the annual Hanahan Christmas Parade, prepare breakfast for the ladies at Christmas time, and take the ladies out to dinner on Valentine’s Day.
